The Man and the Lion

iOS owners are in for a treat this week, as the neon-soaked Hyper Light Drifter will finally make its grand appearance on the App Store this Thursday. It’s a hard-as-nails action-RPG which sees you traversing a crumbling, gorgeous pixel art world. It’s also one of the best games of its type available on any platform.

The game, originally released all the way back in 2016 for PC, was heavily inspired by early Zelda titles, though its rapid-fire combat was – and mostly still is – quite unique in its rhythms. It sees you making your way across a desolate yet elegant world of rock-hard bosses and mysterious NPCs, as you struggle to fight back a mysterious illness.
hi our game Hyper Light Drifter comes to iPhones in 5 DAYS it is very pixelly and it glows! I mean, just listen to the tune in the trailer below – beautiful. Netflix has snapped up the rights for an upcoming Hyper Light Drifter TV series. It’s being produced by Adi Shankar, one of the driving forces behind the Castlevania animated series.

At launch, the game received mostly rave reviews for its visuals and sound, though many struggled to get on board with its wordless, open-ended narrative. While you could opt to go down the rabbit hole and watch a bunch of “Hyper Light Drifter explained” videos, I think it works just as well as an affecting mood piece, much like the best Dark Souls games.

We reviewed the Switch version late last year, praising its stunning world and tight, lightning-fast combat.
Race Pro: Speed Car Racer in Traffic(Large currency)
The Sandbox is a weird sandbox/puzzle game. It lets you do whatever you want with a number of elements and materials but it also features a campaign mode in which you must solve some puzzles.

This means finding a way to turn the electricity back on or filling a lake with water.

It got updated a lot with dinosaurs, monsters and more.

Naturally, a sequel was planned and was in beta test for quite a while. Today, Pixowl is extending a bit further with a soft launch. The game's now available in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Philippines here.

If you don't know how to get games outside of your App Store, check our handy guide here.

We previewed The Sandbox 2 back in GDC last year and thought it was a prettier sequel with an added option to share your creations.

On top of that, you'll also be able to create games now with hero being added. That means that players will be able to play your platforming level if you decide to share it online.

A lot of updates are also planned to add more elements and missions. The game contains more than 100 missions and 150 elements already.

Here's some gameplay:

See? I thought that might cheer you up.

As we said when it came to Android, Exos Saga is a Korean RPG that recruited artists who worked on Ragnarok Online to give it its looks.

Here, have a look at it in motion, why don't you:

TWO MEN, one who always spoke the truth and the other who told nothing but lies, were traveling together and by chance came to the land of Apes. One of the Apes, who had raised himself to be king, commanded them to be seized and brought before him, that he might know what was said of him among men. He ordered at the same time that all the Apes be arranged in a long row on his right hand and on his left, and that a throne be placed for him, as was the custom among men. After these preparations he signified that the two men should be brought before him, and greeted them with this salutation: "What sort of a king do I seem to you to be, O strangers?' The Lying Traveler replied, "You seem to me a most mighty king." "And what is your estimate of those you see around me?' "These," he made answer, "are worthy companions of yourself, fit at least to be ambassadors and leaders of armies." The Ape and all his court, gratified with the lie, commanded that a handsome present be given to the flatterer. On this the truthful Traveler thought to himself, "If so great a reward be given for a lie, with what gift may not I be rewarded, if, according to my custom, I tell the truth?' The Ape quickly turned to him. "And pray how do I and these my friends around me seem to you?' "Thou art," he said, "a most excellent Ape, and all these thy companions after thy example are excellent Apes too." The King of the Apes, enraged at hearing these truths, gave him over to the teeth and claws of his companions."The second one is, feed him well."
"Oh, yes. He is married and his wife is a sweet little thing and they're perfectly happy. Everything works together for good. Jo and the Bible say that, and they are pretty good authorities."A PHILOSOPHER witnessed from the shore the shipwreck of a vessel, of which the crew and passengers were all drowned. He inveighed against the injustice of Providence, which would for the sake of one criminal perchance sailing in the ship allow so many innocent persons to perish. As he was indulging in these reflections, he found himself surrounded by a whole army of Ants, near whose nest he was standing. One of them climbed up and stung him, and he immediately trampled them all to death with his foot. Mercury presented himself, and striking the Philosopher with his wand, said, "And are you indeed to make yourself a judge of the dealings of Providence, who hast thyself in a similar manner treated these poor Ants?'
